sonore, live
Sing or speak into your computer and watch two of sonore's views of it as it happens: a
cochleagram (the sound's envelope in 32 or 64 gammatone bands, every 10 ms) and the F0 track drawn
over it where the sound is voiced. Both are sonore's streams, the same code that
so.stream runs in Python, here in Pyodide in your browser. A stream gives exactly
what the analysis of the whole recording would give.
Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere: the sound stays in this page. The browser's echo cancellation, noise suppression and automatic gain are asked to be off, but a browser may still change the sound and resamples it to 16 kHz, so this shows the streams at work; it is not a calibrated measurement. The picture runs a little more than 0.1 s behind: 50 ms to gather a block, and the F0 tracker decides each moment once the 50 ms after it, and the samples its windows reach, have arrived. How it works: docs/design/live-page.md.
